The Books Left Out

Long before the Bible took its familiar Western form, other books were copied, read and prayed over. Enoch, Jubilees, the Book of Giants and the wider Apocrypha told of the Watchers, the world before the Flood and a calendar kept by heaven. Over time the Western churches settled on a shorter canon, and these writings fell out of view. The Ethiopian Church never let them go: it kept Enoch and Jubilees in its Bible. Here they are again, in clear English and large print.
